Still, one of the main reasons I'm short of time are two rather challenging papers (short papers, I must add, though challenging nonetheless) that I'm going to wrestle with in the near future. I expect that, for at least the first, I will try and air some ideas in hopes of much needed commentary. Regardless, there are the two potential future topics of discussion: </span></div><ol><li><div align="justify"><span >Kant's Appercetion, in the B-Deduction within his <em>Critique of Pure Reason</em>. I have a vague idea of a comparison with Descartes' <em>Cogito</em>. Also, following Henry Allison's commentray in his <em>Kant's Transcendental Idealism</em>.</span></div></li><li><div align="justify"><span >Hume's comments on skepticism and the difficulties of philosophy for philosophers, and it's relevance to G. E. Moore's common-sensual philosophy. There will be some reference to Thomas Reid and, of course, Wittgenstein.</span></div></li></ol><p align="justify"><span >Well, then: the ball starts a-rolling on Feb. 2nd.
